Having another day, let alone an entire week, to prepare for today's thirty-two day trip to, around, and back from, Europe would have been really, really, nice. Suitcases were finally filled to the brim (and about 10 pounds too heavy each) about 9 pm Sunday night, followed by pizza, followed by doing the "washing up" as the British say, followed by bed.
By the time you read this post we should either be on the way to SFO (at 9:30 am Monday morning), waiting to board our flight, pulling away from the gate (at 12:31 pm), or part way to London (6:55 am arrival, London time, on Tuesday).
